At a point in his or her life, everyone has the desire to escape from reality. Whether they are successful or not, instead of facing their problems, they would rather pretend like their problems do not exist. People tend to pick up bad habits that either stay with them forever or go away through therapy and treatment. For some people their escape is through drugs. They obtain this bad habit because drugs allows them to forget everything negative. Some people choose to use drugs because of household situations. If everyone at the party is getting high, the person may think they woul d be looked down upon if they do not get high with the other people attending the party. Being high can also get someone to express an emotion they would rather not talk about.
